ISOBAR is shortlisted for the SESAR Exploratory Research Award

We are very glad to announce that the ISOBAR project has been nominated for the SESAR Digital European Sky Awards 2023 in the exploratory research category. A recognision that highlights projects that challenge the status quo in air traffic management and demonstrate their potential to significantly improve aviation performance.

ISOBAR shares this nomination with other interesting projects: DYNCAT – Dynamic Configuration Adjustment in the TMA and TAPAS -Towards an Automated and exPlainable ATM System. In our case, the project is also shortlisted for having demonstrated excellence in technological innovation and due to its overall contribution to the SESAR programme.

The choice will now be in the hands of the ATM community and the public, who will be able to vote for their favourite project at the Airspace World event, 9 March 2023, in Geneva. The Awards ceremony will take place in the SESAR Theatre (theatre 4).
